I don't know if anyone will know, I have been on the birth control pill for about 11 years, I will be trying to get pregnant in about 6 months when do you think I should go off the pill?

I think you should get off now, but of course, there is the chance you can get pregnant. I did a little reading on the web and most everyone is saying that a woman's fertility can come back the same day you get off the pill or it could take up to 12 months...I guess it would really be up to you.

That's absolutely right.
After being on the pill for 15 years my sister-in-law thought she had to try a few months to even regain a normal period. She was 4 months pregnant without even noticing!

You should also talk to your gyno about it because he can give you vitamins and folic acid. Those are essential in early pregnancy. Good luck! Very Happy
