arm tattoos on women

i have onke tattoo atm and i just wanted to know what u all think of arm tattoos on women, personal i dont like them i think they look tacky i have my boyfriends name on my neck and im getting one on my foot soon and after that i dont know but what to u think bout arm tattoos on women or tattoos all together

I think they look terrible on anyone but each to their own etc.

Why would any woman MAR her beautiful body (any where) with an ugly BLOB of Ink? It's a big turn off!

Foot tattoos are hot, other than that they really don't do a thing for me personally.

I see nothing wrong with tattoos, as I have three myself...

However, I think you would be better off having your tattoos on your body, rather than down on your limbs, as it is easier to hide (and expose..) them then with your choice of clothes..

I personally don't like arm tattoos on women, not my thing, but I do really like them pretty much anywhere else.

I know a girl that has a small (~1.5" diameter) green and yellow turtle tattoo about midway up her forearm (on the palm side). It is there as a tribute to the pet turtle she had when she was 14 and her severely bipolar mother threw it at the door in a fit of rage, killing it of course. It is quite pretty, and cute.

i have a really colourful tattoo on the top of my right arm and a colourful one on the inside of my left forearm none of them are big, i think they look good depending on what you have. i personally wouldn't get anything black or dark coloured as in my opinion colourful ones look more feminine. i find most body art beautiful but as they say each to their own.

Well I am extensively covered. i am 34 and my right leg has a full japanese design, my tattooist is about to take that design over to my left leg, 2/3rds of my back is inked, so is my chest and breasts, my upper arms, shoulders and my right lower arm. I am about to extend the tattoo on my left arm into a sleeve, and contrary to popular assumption of what type of people have tattoos, well, I am a midwife and run my own business. I've never had any negative remarks about my tattoos, in fact, many people have commented on how attractive they are.

Not my thing at all, but as someone else posted, to each their own.
Too permanent and to me, mars the body. If you were applying for a job with my firm, you would not be hired, which should be a heads up if you were debating the issue.
I work a soup kitchen in my city and really can't be judgemental, just helpful, which is perfect to me. Then I see Mom's and Dad's come in with multiple tattoos and I get judgemental as that money could have been better served to assist their own family, for food or for housing. I am guilty as charged. I continue to do the soup kitchen, each week, but that one issue pesters me, to no end.
I have no idea how much tattos cost, but they cannot be cheap.
I am glad, when I was in college or in the military, that I didn't run off, after a night at the bar and get one. Lucky rather than smart.

I have got a tiny tattoo on my shoulder which is unique and was designed by someone special to me, I love it and it can be covered up or displayed at will.

Personally I would suggest that you picked a similar are of the body.

On my arm - No - that can't be hidden for job interviews & similar.
I think in the UK there is a ban on tattoos on the face, hands and possibly the neck.

I have seen girls with the tattoo on her breast(s) - although I didn't get a full view.

The nicest I've seen is a set of paw-prints on her ankle - first glance is that it's a pattern of shadows - a closer view shows it - very painful in that boney area.

I've been told that the ink fades.

That's the thing - tattoos on old people always look s**t, and sooner or later you end up wrinkly with faded tattoos. I agree that it's a case of "to each their own", but I'm not into them at all.
