Has anyone else had this dream theme before?

I know one friend (on|ine acquaintance of many years) who has had this sort of dream before as well.

It's sort of annoying, really. You wander around trying to find a washroom, and once you do, you discover there are issues such as wet floors, toilet paper strewn everywhere, stall doors (and in some cases, walls) damaged or missing, and of course unclean toilets. Maybe some toilets are the wrong height or have some other bizarre design about them, making you wonder who designed it, and why.

You wander around in the washroom trying to find a toilet you can actually use. Assuming the washroom isn't completely empty, there will be others coming and going, doing their business like there's nothing wrong.

Ah, well as you have such good taste in films you should see it.

But perhaps, considering the nature of your dream, it probably best that you don’t……

Me? Good taste in films? I thought I tend to go for corny, funny, the odd classic corny/funny such as Young Frankenstein, and get sucked into films with awesome special effects even if the plot is weak.

But... well thanks, I guess. Smile

Nowt wrong with Young Frankenstein - it's a classic.

And I would say that any Wizard whose fave film is a certain space epic by Mr Kubrick, really has good taste as far as films are concerned....

Amazingly, I have this kind of dream often! Very Happy

Maybe its because you are trying to "flush" something out of your life?

Hm, good observation.

Maybe not so much flushing, as much as feeling unclean about a situation...?

I had a vaguely related theme last night which I think I've had before. It wasn't the main part of the dream, but I was looking to get cleaned up. It was some sort of public resource, perhaps like a recreation centre, or maybe more like a private health club.

I had just come inside after riding my new motorbike (strangely, I wasn't wearing my helmet, and there was a bit of sludgy snow on the ground which ended up spraying on my face) and wanted to clean up. I went wandering around the changeroom, trying to find a free shower stall.

The shower stalls were huge, like 10x10, or 10x12, something like that. And they had nice solid but clear (not frosted) glass walls, a style/design that both Bouncy and I like.

I went over to one such stall, but it was completely steamed up. Obviously already in use.

I saw another stall which appeared to have just freed up, but I also noticed another door on the opposite side, which apparently connected to the women's changeroom. I then started to wonder how I'd manage to have a private shower at all, given the clear nature of the glass (unless I stay semi-clad until the stall had completely steamed up).

I found a few other stalls, but again it was never clear which one (if any) I could use with reasonable comfort.

And I was in a hurry; I needed to get cleaned up and get to a meeting in 10-15 mins. Wink

Again, this was just a side theme. The main part of the dream is what's bothering me.

Hey that's pretty funny!

You should do stand-up.
