Just a thread to consider an idea linked to spirituality and what the way forward should be for humankind and - if there be sentient life beyond our planet - the universe.

We have so many religions these days that dichotomize dark and light, light being the righteous way. But yet, so much blood has been shed by those who believe their cause is righteous/light and the cause of their enemies is dark (yet the enemies will characterize it the other way round).

These themes were played out in Christianity but also before, it is an old dichotomy. Yet when we take a position that one is supreme over another, that one is cast in dark and another in light, can we not justify all sorts of horrible acts upon those we deem in the dark, because of our belief that our way is superior and is therefore light? (history is replete with exactly this).

The physical understanding of light vs. dark is the moon and the sun, water and fire, that which cannot be reconciled. Some beliefs extend this to warring beings from other planets that claim to be light and the other dark, both of which seeded our planet. But yet, between the two, there is creation and without the two there is none. And in all stories they essentially - at some point - came from the same source (everything is one).

Consider the Ying and Yang symbol - a seed of dark in light and a seed of light in dark. This ancient symbol teaches us that life exists through the presence of both.

Or even the star of David, which is one upright pyramid and one downright pyramid - the opposites forming creation. The upright pyramid is fire, the downright is water - cancer and leo, sun and moon. If you go to their constellations (cancer and leo), the core of the cancer constellation is the beehive or the 'crib', the most noted star in Leo is Regulus, the 'little king'. So through the union of the irreconcilables there is the little king born of the seed of the sun, raised in the crib/womb of the moon.

I know this seems a weird connection for me to make, but it is based on researching ancient knowledge (a short cut explanation, if you will). For example, the sun and moon, in modern times, equates to the cusp of cancer and leo, the 22 July, being the 22/7. Twenty two divided by seven equals the ancient approximation of Pi, implicated in the building of the Great Pyramid of Giza, which began its construction when Pleiades was directly above it and is squared - in a multitude of its calculations - by Pi.

The relevance of Pleiades is in the star called Maia. Consider Maia as a reference to Mary - mother of Jesus, but also to Isis - mother of Horus, to the mother of Buddha, to Kali, to the Mayans, to Matariki for the Maori - this is an ancient association with repeated 'virgin birth' connotations - Mithra included (although probably in terms of consciousness rather than physically - i.e. born of physical parents but implanted with higher consciousness - although more likely embarked to become masters, through meditation - who could transcend reality - the virgin aspect being added later).

But the interesting thing about Pi is that it is also strongly implicated in the 'Stairway to heaven'. It is the mathematical computation of Pi that has allowed us to chart the distance between earth and the Pleiades, which has, by extension, allowed us to know the distance between earth and all other constellations. This knowledge has been pivotal in allowing us to chart space travel - thereby allowing us to travel in space. That is why it is the stairway to the heavens.

So if this implicates beings from other planets who have warred against each other and urge us to chose one way or another, or even if it is a more traditional doctrines of fallen vs. non-fallen angels (which you could also understand as those who have or have not 'come from the sky') then should we be held sway to their eternal need for us to choose one over the other, or should we say to them 'reconcile, because we are all of the same origin'. And then should we not look to those behind the wars on earth and say 'you are misled, reconcile, for we are all of the same origin'?

(note, both Bush and Clinton families link to a family tree that would suggest superior origin, as does all royal families, I know this because I find myself linked to the same bloodline, but reject the superiority assumption).

Because, I don't know about you, but for me there is so much out there, especially now in the times of the internet, that urges you one way or another, and leaves you feeling confused as to which way to go - who is telling the truth?

Fear is incumbent in all of these messages, fear that you chose the wrong thing and therefore are damned. But this is a warring choice!!!! War will only come out of it, disrespect for others will only come out of it, with no sure comfort, other than faith, that your actions against others - the killing of others - is justified. You will be able to find such beliefs and justifications in Nazism, even in the wars of today, and many of the past - ancient past even.

I slept last night and my dreams were troubled - they were troubled with trying to decide what was the right path. I woke with one conclusion that avoids any ambiguity, side-steps any war, stops tearing my spirit apart and this world apart - and that is of reconciliation.

Do you hear of people wanting to commit themselves to Jesus and felt they are being descended upon by demons, that they have to fight against? That is the way that people have tried to understand things when they have chosen the light over the dark - but I suggest to you that they feel a war for their spirit because they are trying to make themselves make an unnatural choice- a one-sided choice as opposed to an integrated choice. Their spirit is saying 'don't force me to be half of whole'.

I believe that the future goal of humanity is to reject false doctrines or old resentments of dark vs. light. Our goal is to walk the middle path with ourselves and with our planet and to find balance. Our goal is to send a message out to each other - and beyond this planet if needs be - that old grievances need to be laid to rest, that any assumption of superiority needs to be laid to rest.

Unless we can see this as the path forward, then we will embrace war, superiority, greed, destruction of ourselves and misery and be under the false illusion that by doing so we will gain some sort of salvation.

Ok - so assuming that what you say is true (which I won't argue as a possibility - cos I'm not wed - understand).

So does this mean our warring is innate and we will always be destructive?

Hate is a natural primate trait, as is love. Wars will continue for as long as the instinct for self-preservation continues to reside in the same species as the lust for power. Unless God interferes before we immolate and annihilate ourselves. Given the history of the race heretofore, y'all better pray that he does exist, and that he has an interest in the preservation of his creation.
