| A dream about Flying and Floating may imply acceptance of something or letting go or worries. |

I had a dream I was locked in a water isolation tank with only windows media player visuals for entertainment, and I was flying through the swirls and patterns. It was like being a brain in a jar, terrifying |

I've had that one, too. Quite often. Always in a sitting position, legs straight out in front, flying feet first.
How do you fly? |

| I used to dream that I could fly all the time when I was a child. To this day I believe that dreams of flying are actual out-of-body experiences. |

In my flying dreams, which I quite often have, I get into the air by doing a sorts of skip. I then fly upright about a foot off the ground and it takes concentration to stay in the air. |

Oh, that's a totally different sort of flying, Lucy.
Mine is totally effortless, and I just SOAR up, up and away.
Eventually I start to panic about how I'm going to get down again, and then I wake up. I've never mastered the art of landing, it seems ... |

That's pretty much how I fly in my dreams. When I'm not pilot or passenger in a plane, that is. |

| I used to fly a lot when I was younger but not so much now. Does that mean we find it harder to let things go when we get older? Who knows! I used to fly from a push up from one foot a bit like superman but could never fly very high! Just used to skim over peoples heads. Never got more than about 15 feet up tho I certainly tried! |

That is the exact same way I flew as a child... sitting down, legs straight out in front of me, feet first. I was never able to achieve much height though, I just kind of skimmed along about five to ten feet above the ground.
As an adult, all my flying dreams involve some sort of assistance, ie: a plane, a helicopter and once a bizarre floating air mattress. |
