| Hi, i was due on my period on the 15th November, i had sex with my ex boyfriend about 2 weeks b4 that so at the beginning of November. Im not usually late but have not come on and have no period pains or signs at all. Dont feel due on at all. I havent really got any early symptons that i have read about on the internet but just want to ask what you thought. I took a few tests and they are negative. is it too early? they were clearblue tests. Thanks x |

Hi, there are so many reasons why your period could be late - pregnancy being the obvious one, but my period was a week late a couple of months ago and I couldn't figure out why; I just had to put it down to stress since I had been studying for exams (although I didn't feel particularly stressed out).
You might be subconsciously worried that you're pregnant and that alone might be enough to delay your period!
I think you should maybe go to your doctor - they can do a blood test to rule out pregnancy and then take it from there.
Good luck! |

| Another 5 days and i still havent come on, Im not really stressed about it at all. I will do what you said and book an appointment at the doctors. Do you think if i took another test it could have changed from last week or should it have been positive last week if i was pregnant? thanks x |

Might be worth taking a test again as a lot depends on the sensitivity of the test and the levels of hcg in your body at the time; might have been too low to get picked up - but a test at 2 weeks after your period is due should really be giving an accurate result.
I think definitely go to your doctor - as I said, they'll probably do a blood test which will tell you for sure, and since it's probably nothing, your mind will be put at rest.
