Perhaps you should try Wolfords.

They are made so much better than ordinary tights.

I find that they run much less.

I've had the same problem with some of my shoes as well.
My solution was to wear an inexpensive pair of pantyhose whenever I wore those shoes. That way I hadn't wasted a good pair if my shoes caused a run or snag.
I'd hate to pay a lot of money for a pair of Wolfords and have the same thing happen!

I thought I was alone on that one, I have a pair of strappy, heeled shoes, and the toes of my tights were always seeming to get laddered. I though it was when I sat down and crossed my feet, my right heel was catching my left foot, then realised the thin straps over my toes were cutting through. I have a slight instep when I walk, with my left foot, and also thought it was the way I was walking that did it
