Guest book

Hi girls!

In case it hasn't been mentioned already (and I'm sorry if it has), a really great idea for an original type of guestbook, rather than the traditional paper kinda (pretty boring in my opinion, coz everybody does em!), is to get a polaroid photo of guests as they come in, then get them to write their message on the bottom white section part. Afterwards, you put all the polaroids in an album!

What FH and I plan on doing is getting each guest (couples or whole families) to have a polaroid taken against a nice background near the foyer where you greet/receive guests, but instead of getting them to write on the polaroid itself, I'm getting these fancy sticker label things made which gets stuck on the bottom part of the polaroid. Guests then write their messages beforehand on the stickers, then it gets stuck on. The reason we're doing this is because if a guest makes a mistake/changes their mind about their message, we don't have to take another polaroid (waste of money and polaroids!). Instead, they can just throw away the sticker label, and write on a new one. Good idea or what?

Another reason why this idea was good for me was because I'm inviting 200 guests and I admit, many of the families there are more closer to my parents than to me, and half the time I can't remember their names! It would be good if I get to read the guest messages and see which guest the message actually belongs to! We'll collect them in a cute little album and that will be our guest 'book'
