It's just a fact of life. ALL men want to have sex with their mother-in-law, regardless of her physical beauty etc etc. Maybe it's a psychological need for acceptance? Who knows, but any guy that denies he wants to sleep with her is having you on.

What complete rubbish. Apart from the fact that all generalisations are false, this one isn't even a little bit true. I'm sure you will come up with some suppressed Feudian gobledegook, but the fact is you are completely wrong in all but a very small minority of rather sad cases.

If you love your MIL does it matter! After all at the end of the day LOVE is all! Sad people will try to deny that! LOVE even if it is with MIL is the ultimate, try and deny that!

Tut tut Harry. I think you protest to much.

First, if all generalizations are false you must be wrong in generalizing that all generalizations are false - think about it.

Second, it is not a Freudian suppressed sub-conscious desire to sleep with the mother-in-law. This is a very conscious desire that the vast majority of men have. They see the similarities between daughter and her mother. Even if happily married to the daughter they cannot help but get turned on by this.

Do you reckon my MIL and wife would be interested in a threesome? Would they be offended if I suggested this or would it turm them on?

I love my mother in-law. Every time I see her my thing is getting harder,
cause she is young as my wife. when they are together, people can't tell
which one is the mother.

Saying it again doesn't make it true. Nobody I know has ever made this claim and the ones I have talked to about it are not just not turned on they are completely turned off. And that is very natural (nature is much wiser than you are).

We live in a society where people make all sorts of rash claims, a lot completely unsubstantiated and then try to build a case on the basis of their claims. I'm not falling for it nor will most people on this site.

It was complete rubbish before. It is still complete rubbish,

1. Nobody makes such a claim because it is socially unacceptable. That does not make it untrue.
2. We do indeed live in a society where many make rash claims. The best I have just heard are your claims that nature makes it natural that men are turned off by their MILs and that nature is wise. What proof do you have for this?

First, nature does not have a moral standpoint, so what you are saying is that men cannot be attracted to older women. This is plainly untrue and actually a sexist and ageist comment.

Second, the idea that nature is wise is a staggering claim and completely without foundation, unless, of course, by nature you are referring to an omnipotent being. I suspect, however, that you take a 'folk-view' of nature as 'knowing best'. You will not make a philosopher Harry, but keep trying if only for the laughs your 'stock' answers give me.

OK . Guest, I have the measure of you. You are the sort that tries to legitimise dubious behaviour by attempting to persuade yourself that most people secretly share your distorted perspective.

To do this you make a series of claims which are completely unsubstantiated and then when challenged try to turn the arguement into a discussion about a point which you now want someone else to defend. You will never justify your original claims.

It's an old trick used by vapid individuals who may have a way with words but whose arguements have no substance.

I responded not because debate with you has any merit, but because others should not be taken in by a charlatan.

Your original statement remains, as it always was, no more than a figment of your imagination and an attempted justification for your own perverted thoughts.

I will have no more to say on the matter.

My wifes father passed away a year ago and about 3 months ago she start getting closer. Now here and her daugter and real close. My mother in law is the type of person who is very loving to her children. my wife works weekends. So I had to go over her house and do some work.. Then we started talking about how she misses him and I suggested on finding someone on the internet.. She replied that she had all the men in her life here.I ask like who and she said me. I told her that I was Marriedto her daughter and she said she knew. So then I said would you if I wasn't married she said yes.... Then she started holdingmy hand and well one thing led to another..... I work out of our home and my mother in law comes over once and a while to see here grandchild.. This is the only time we get to be alone... My wife knows nothing about this.... Yet my mother inlaw is happy and so am I.....

Hmm. Quite a rant Harry. Of course, like all individuals who defend something they know is untrue, your words are mere rhetoric, and devoid of meaningful character. The argument I put forward might indeed be without substance, but you failed to identify the holes in it, and merely resorted to insults and the use of cliches. Well done.

Hey harry man...well done on ure debate with the mystery guest. I think women feel it is alright to generalise about men and yet find it highly offensive when we do the same thing. We don't all think about our mother-in-laws. To be honest i'd be quite happy with my wife, that's probably why you get married in the first place!! Now i may only be 17...coming up to 18 in a couple of days...but i feel i even have more common sense than most of these people who feel they should "keep it in the family". Come on people. Think about it and don't screw up ure marriage..
