hi helen.t

when i was 32 wks, (now 37) i hadn't felt any movement, for 2 days and the day b4 was only twice, i rang triage and went in for a rountine assesment.

i was strapped up to a monitor that picks up the babys heartbeat and movement, the baby was actually moving quite a lot, although i couldn't feel, the midwife said this was due to her moving deep into my back, she also said on ave u should feel the baby move 10 times a day, but every baby is diff and has its own rountine, my baby at that point was moving round 30/40 times a day she was very active, now is a different story, im lucky to feel her move 4/5 times a day.

soon it will all b over Smile .... if u r really concerned spk with ur midwife for some general advice she wil put ur mind at rest.

I didnt feel my baby move at all just saw him poking out!!

it can be to do with the postion of your placenta and the baby he might be kicking into yor placenta this week and you wouldnt feel it so much!

most of the time a womans intuition is right so if you become really worried you should go stright to hospital.

but im sure your just looking for some reasureance

i hope you got all you need

and i wish you all the luck with your pregnancy and birth
(you'll need it! lol my 4month old is teething !!)
