Have a word with your dr or health visitor to make sure everything is ok. This is probably just her getting used to balancing or could be a little clumsy, my first child was forever bumping into things...practically everything, she had that many bruises i took her to dr cos i was worried about being accused of abuse, it really was that bad! She was just clumsy and grew out of it.

The thing is they all do it my three did but sometimes I would look at them and wonder how they missed something but other times they would walk into the biggest and most visible object ever. Just watch fo sharp corners and eye level hard points, she be fine

hi flo,
i have 16month old twins. my boy is so accident prone, he always has bruises on his head. last week, he fell and smacked his head on the radiator, then 15mins later he fell over again and got a black eye. 3 days later he fell over at the park and got a big scab on his head.
my girl isnt accident prone atall, but far more adventrous than her brother! she has falls but seems to break them.

i too, have wondered if you can get head protectors, as im worried about how many knocks my boy takes. at this rate he wont have any braincells left!
