Hi!!! Love Rome so much
We stayed in Hotel San Carlo last June - gorgeous little hotel, and nice continental breakfast just across the road from the Spanish Steps, right in the middle of it all!
Have a look at this website http://www.hotelsancarloroma.com/ |

Think we got a special deal because a friend recommended it who lives in Rome.
Have you looked on Expedia.co.uk - you can type in all your requirements, then go from the cheapest to the dearest hotel! |

| Try looking for a pensione in Rome. They are guesthouses and are cheaper than hotels. |

| Try and have a look on this site, which finds and compares hotels from loads of different sites. http://www.travelsupermarket.com/travelmerge/travelsearch.aspx?package=5 I used it to find us a cheap hotel when we went to Barcelona before christmas. It shows you a map to see how close you are to city centre, metro stations etc. which I found quite useful |
