I like jewelry for the feet. Yes, to toe rings and anklets. I have been buying a lot of jewel embellished strappy sandals. Also I like boot chains.
I haven't noticed a guy wearing a toe ring yet but I think it would be a very sexy look. I saw a handsome hetro guy, long hair and wearing a sharp tux who had on a charm bracelet. It was a great look. One that I haven't forgotten.
I wish men would take more fashion risk.-----------

Hi,
I am glad to see that this tread was reopened. I'd like to rally for more cool fashions for men. Wasn't there a time when cave men made ornaments out of their hunt and wore them? This past summer I was visited by a southern 'good ole boy' and I noticed his flip flops. They were black and all sparkle-ly. I told him that I loved the look and I wanted to know where he found them because it was a different and very hip look. I was surprised when he, the 'macho he-man' told me that he had got them from the women dept. of a conservation chain store: Target, for those that know this store in the states. It gave me a whole new perception of him just because of his shoes...it was a great, cool, relaxed look for a guy. Come on guys...fashion graps attention. Wear those toe rings and earrings and bracelets (maybe at different times). I don't like the 'quido' look but I guess it has it's place too.

Agreed. Unfortunately we don't go on hunts anymore and thus have no trophies. Hell, we can't even get into a good old fashioned dust up anymore without being sued or hit with criminal charges. Really sucks that so many people (well, certain *kinds* of people at least) can't stand the thought of what humans really are and are forcing us to divest ourselves of all the natural trappings.
But anyway... it's kinda funny that I came across this message now. Last night I left work and the moon was full and *huge* in the sky, just over the horizon, and it was looking to be a relatively cloudless night. I couldn't help but think "tonight, we hunt". lol
Black and sparkly flip flops sounds intriguing - depending on just how they are designed (and the color and severity of the sparkly-ness). I dunno about getting them out of the women's section though. But still, I agree with your sentiment - men need more sandal options, and overall we ought to be more accepting of thigns that might be considered slightly unusual fashions today. There's no reason we shouldn't be allowed to wear nice sandals in the office (for example), or with somewhat dressy attire (a nice dress shirt and dress pants, for example), or have such sandals with slight heels like our normal dress shoes have. And there's no reason we shouldn't have more choices in overall styles and looks of them as well.
I love my flip flops and dressy sandals, and love wearing my toe ring and having my toenails buffed to a high gloss (or sometimes wearing several coats of high gloss clear). I think you're right, it is a great, cool, and relaxed look for a guy. And that's just it, it looks cool, yet also looks good or 'nice', and it works for a guy and doesn't look the least bit feminine.
A very attractive female co-worker (and friend) suggested I get a bracelet as well. I wasn't sure about that. I killed 2 birds with 1 stone though and got a nice polished stainless bracelet band watch (I'd been looking for a nice watch for ages - nearly impossible to find something that looks cool and nice and *doesn't* have a date display on it).
Earrings aren't for me though. But nothing wrong with it.
What do you think about ankle bracelets (or anklets, whichever one wishes to call them)? I found that there is a web site that custom makes them and has a selection just for men. Supposedly that's becoming not too uncommon now too. That same co-worker also suggested I get one of them as well (and set me off on a quest which I'm still in the middle of lol).

Yeah, I did read that. Aren't charm bracelets those little tiny multi colored bead things with some beads that have letters printed on them? Or am I thinking of something else?
I was looking around on another site and happened to see an article talking about fashion accessories and the author listed one example of a bracelet. I haven't seen anything like it before and thought it was really cool.
She said that one should always wear ones bracelet on the opposite wrist from his watch. That makes sense, if you do both, but I thought that both might be a bit "much" perhaps.
Although that same author also said never more than 2 accessories together, but I've been recommended at least 3 together (ankle and wrist bracelets along with my toering). lol
I'm definitely going to order more than 1 ankle bracelet from that custom site I mentioned previously. Just trying to decide which ones to buy (I like more than one and can't decide, but options for moods or outfits are always nice lol). I also really want to find more cool toerings, but they are all very narrow bands and usually very short in circumference as well. It's extremely frustrating.
I dunno if I'll end up with a wrist bracelet though. Like I said, that's sorta why I got the "bracelet band" on my watch (I had always been a black leather band sort of guy). Maybe. I don't want to overload on accessories, and I was kinda sold on the ankle bracelet, and already love my toering. And.... my nails could almost be considered an "accessory" of sorts since they usually gleam rather brightly. Or more to the point, loading up on accessories in concert with that style might *really* over-do it. lol

i'm glad my wife doesn't think like you, toe rings on guys are cool, as are earrings, and anything else men want to wear.
I think it's cool that you like to wear them. Your boyfriend is right, they are sexy on a woman. Not many women do seem to do it, although it is slowly becomming more common. Just maybe a little TOO slowly.
But, do you mind if I ask why you feel the way you do about guys wearing them? I'm curious.
