|
| I have an Asus laptop and the screen's reeeeally bright. Apparently the F5 and F6 keys should alter brightness, but they don't work...can anyone help? My eyes are going to explode. |

Wear sunglasses till you solve it...
I read in a blog that you need to change a setting in the Bios... but it didn't say how...
It seems that your brand of laptop has special technology to make the screen bright without wasting the battery... |

you may need to press another key AND F5/F6...
for instance I have to press the Fn (Function) key in order for these keys to work. It may be slightly different on yours, but it's unlikely to be just F5/6 on it's own!
Hope you see what i mean?! |

Yep! Fn is used alot, F5 and F6 will be default unless holding a certain key normally, may want to check you're manual if no Fn |
