Several times - Like Malaga, Kavos, kardamena, Ayia Nappa, Malia,Bodrum,Gumbet and San Antonio Palma Nova is getting really cheesy and naff now - Its the same old Saturday nights with warm beer and overpriced crap food. Years ago Benedorm went down the pan as people got bored with the same old. These resorts are heading the same way

Id rather do Veronikas in Playas Americas in Tenerife or Gran Canaria which still have some appeal and you dont get ripped off as much.

The South of France is still far classier and you can get on campsites with French Life> Some of the budget airlines fly to airports close to the French Riviera and transfers are easy. More importantly years ago the likes of Cannes and Monte Carlo were seen as expensive and yet thats no longer the case - You can get in some classy clubs for under £15.00 and you are not getting watered down beers and spirits or hassled by promo reps.

If you really want Spain then why not consider Santa Suzzana, Solou or Callalea ( may have spelt that wrong ) There are more than enough clubs and bars and the bonus of just being a short train ride from Barcelona which is still a fantastic place to visit for the Nou Camp, cathederal and more shopping than ya plastic could handle.

As an Ex Club 18-30 rep I didnt mind helping the mindless lose their minds in tacky cheesy resorts like Malaga but for a decent clubby and party holiday where I am not ripped off and where its not full of pork bellied soccer shirt wearing clones - Id pick anywhere but the resorts I have mentioned...altho perhaps Bodrum and Gumbet in Turkey still have enough to be of interest for a few years
