Anyone got a beta of the next thing to replace XP? I've heard the interface is a lot better, but I don't know the processor requirements for it.
One other question - I am thinking of getting a Wireless Router, how secure are they, and which is a good one to buy?
Answers, pls! |

I've seen and worked with Vista a lot - you need quite a powerful machine to get the FULL experience of something called Aero Glass, which is very very good by the way (very intuitive).
Don't worry about Vista for the moment or upgrading your current machine to run it. Unless you have a very (very) powerful system then you'd be better waiting until you get a new machine, and get Vista with it.
All the requirements for Vista will be on the Microsoft website (probably http://www.Microsoft.com/vista). I have a Beta, but I can't give it to you, you have to be registered for it. You may be able to register on the site there though. |

| Hi, i currently have a actiontec wireless router, and it runs the main pc, 1 other pc and 2 laptops from it via a usb adapter for the pc, and the laptops just pick up the signal. It is very secure, tho kids keep switching off firewalls, all this from 1 internet broadband connection from ntl. |
