Belly button piercings - Sexy or Slutty?

As with anything it just depends on the individual, It's the 'how' it's worn not the wearing of it xx
same as 'slutty' heels.
Can look elegant with the right manner and outfit

My wife has her navel pierced and I think it looks great - as for the sexy/slutty thing, it depends on how she's feeling. What matters is how much she likes it. Of course she likes that I like it and she is considering getting a few more piercings in more 'intimate' places. We're not exactly the most progressive couple, and if a few hidden piercings can make her feel sexy, slutty, pretty, etc. - who am I to argue? It's all about how she feels.

I'm not into jewelry - a wedding band and a watch do it for me, but she enjoys jewelry and I enjoy giving it to her. To me a navel piercing is another place for her to hang some jewelry. And I do think it's sexy.

I got my belly button pierced when I was 18...because it was 'the thing' to do at the time. 5 years later and I can't imagine not having it. I think it looks strange when a girl hasn't got it done now....plus my boyfriend thinks its hot.

Has anyone been pregnant with a belly button piercing in? I'm not planning on having a kid anytime soon but I'm just curious about what happens when ur stomach expands Confused

I think they are great I have mine done top and bottom, my older sister had hers while she was expecting and during the last month took it out mainly because her innie became an outie so it looked odd.

She put it back after the birth

I agree with three_times_a_lady i got mine done when i had just turned 13! and love it. i hate my belly without it it looks plain! i dont think it looks slutty unless you wear a lowcut belly top with a mini skirt and platforms!!! i also wondered what you did when you are pregnant but apparently you can get longer belly bars!

Got mine at 12. other than a few comments from friend's mothers (who wouldn"t let them have it done) I've never had any bad comments

I like it, of course with the right belly. I think it sexy - It's only slutty if you were slutty things (which is up to you). I wish more older women would have it. I don't like all the street fashion - I don't like lawcut geans.

Personally I'd love to have one - I'm a 42 YO man and I'm yearning to look feminine. But I have first to remove my hair, tan it and strengthen my stomach...

Ya'll are getting off topic... I've had my belly button pierced for a little over a year now and I love it. I'm 19 now and I'm definitely no slut. I wear it because I like it and I feel sexier with it. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks as long as you are happy with yourself, with or without a belly button ring. Smile

I Totally agree with what you said, I'd imagine your one is pierced as well, a big turn on,as if you need one you look fantastic exactly the kind of women I like. However I really believe all attractive women such as yourself should get their belly button pierced!

im getting mine done in about a week and im so excited! see it depends on the ring and how u wear it. if you get a rly dangly colorful one that says baby or sexy on it then its like ok.....?? but if you have a simple one and only show it off when ur in a swimsuit than its ok. not slutty at all.

i can't decide if i want one! i've always kind of wanted one but the fear of the long healing time and soreness deterred me. i am also definitely not slutty, i just think a classy small one would be cute.

The healing takes a couple of months - not a lot of trouble - after about a year you don't even register / notice that it's there.
The pain is short-term just for a few minutes.

Another point for the slutty / sexy choice is that the navel jewel can be changed to suit your mood that very day. Some of the sites mention using a plastic 'retainer' to keep the hole open during pregnancy - or to keep it out of sight. On your navel it isn't in public display like eyebrows, chin labrets and similar.
