I've just bought a nearly new ipod off a friend. What i want to know is do you need the interent to put cd's onto it, or can i just install the software and do it on any computer?

You don't need the internet to load music onto your I-Pod unless you intend to download tunes from the net.

You do however need a copy really, of the latest version of I-Tunes to manage your music for the I-Pod.

Make sure when you install it you DO NOT tick the box to automatically update your Ipod otherwise it will wipe it each time it connects.

You can import CD's into I-Tunes and then straight onto your I-Pod, if you so wish.
