Has anyone had the same problem as me.....?

Im 28 and have had to move back home since leaving uni... Since ive been back he has treated me like a child, i feel 13 again.

I cant say anything to him, because no matter what i do he doesnt talk to me like an adult.
"tidy your room, dont forget to do.... , you cant do that...., your ideas are not good enough......You've no life experience!"(what ever that means) Confused

I am a very independant person, have a good job, nice car, great friends who i have regular contact with..... have been brought up to respect my elders, but he obviously doesnt respect me (quite frankly he's not getting any respect off me!)

Mum is complete opposite, and the pair of us dont know where to turn next!? I have had arguments with him that have ended in tears and smashed plates..... Hammering Can any one give me any advice?
