| Hi peeps! Would anyone like to share their fav hairstyles they like to wear? I'll share mine, I have long somewhat wavy red hair that goes to my middle back. I love long hair because you can style it in so many different ways! Like putting the middle lower portion in ringlets or putting it in an updo. When I am in usually in casual wear I love to do the pigtails. A more dressy style is I will make a pony tail with the head portion straight and the tail with defined curls. That style looks good with lots of hair decorations. There is the flair, the racheal cut and lets not forget the goddiva look(long straight and wild). One style that I would like to learn to do is the chinese hairdo with your hair in two ball like buns on the sides. That looks so cute! |

Until recently, I had my hair quite long, over halfway down my back. But it was never straight, kinda semi-wavy, and took forever to dry! I tried to keep it in good condition, with conditioners and stuff, but my brush would forever get tangled and I had it chopped to shoulder length a few weeks ago. I miss the swirls it did, and all the styles i could do - ponytails (one or two!) - but it's so much cooler now, and manageable! I'm debating now whether to back to the style I had before i grew it long, a curled in long bob...

There are just as much different styles you can do with shoulder length hair. I like it when it has bains, when its the go go girl look. That is cute! I think pigtails looks better with it that size too. That length is good at getting hairstyles that show off the neck.
I know tangles can be so, eee! Hehe, some techniques I use that make it much easier are:
*to go with the flow, don't fight against the tangle, lightly carress it with your comb. Combing little by little hairs until their is no tangle left. Fighting aginst it will cause breakage too.
*start at the bottom and work your way up, not the other way around.
*combing it against a flat surface makes it easier.
* sometimes I shake the comb while combing and that works. |
