We are planning our wedding now and are starting to look at venues, plan numbers etc....I get very anxious about leading up to the day and feel sick with nerves!!!! I want to be excited but all I can think about is how nervous I am. Its the ceremony that makes me nervous, walking down the isle, standing saying vows and speeches.Id be okay if it was tomorrow with no time to worry. Im not a public speaker kind of person and don't really like being centre of attention. I keep worrying I won't be able to go through with it. What does everyone else do.
I know weddings come with nerves but Im 10x as bad.
Thinkin of hypnotherapy??? Please help

Aww, nervy!

Im no expert, but why not just take a day off. you and your intended go off for a romantic day out in the sun, or a meal and a movie and just try to forget about it. if you keep yourself occupied with something else it might take your mind off it enough for you to be able to put it into perspective.

That's what the Chief Bridesmaid is for.

My best friend is getting married in December and we have spent the first part of the year planning and buying everything for the wedding. We did little bits at a time and have had an absolute ball doing it. It really has been great fun and we are both dreading it ending as we've truly enjoyed it.

If you are worried about missing something out, see a wedding planner, they will take some stress off.

I am told that when it comes to the day, you will be too excited to get nervous and the whole thing will pass in a dream, without you even noticing anyone else.

Take some time out with your best buddy and enjoy it for what it is.

Take care.

Jo
