| Has anyone ever had the vertical line appear on the pregnancy test & the horizontal line faint? Did you turn out to be pregnant? Has anyone ever had a positive result on the test you can buy from the shops, but didn't turn out to be pregnant? ( Sorry if these questions sound stupid) |

It could mean that you are and that your aren't. How faint was it and when did you take the test? I definetly knew I was pregnant, the line was really dark. It took me 4months, I was wanting to get pg so bad then when I finally realxed it happend. I now have a 2month old little girl.
I would test again in about a week if u don't get your . before then.
NDM hope i helped you some. |

| If there is a line no matter how faint in the result window it has detected HCG and you are pregnant. You never get a false positive. |

I have to disagree there are false positive. Rare but possible.
I had a false positive with first Reponse. I also had one with EPT + or -. There was a + sign hard to see but there an dmy period came a day later every time.
This time I took Answer 4 days sooner Test and it was an impossible to see second line so I went out and bought One Step Early Pregnancy Test and it was a hard to see plus Sign.
Take another test to be sure that you are. You should also visit your Doctor.
Congratulations if you are!!! |

| A false positive is usually due to an early stage miscarriage. If you have a very weak positive, and test again a few days later and it is negative, you probbly were pregnant. It is quite common to have very early stage miscarriages. |
