I have worn Thong undies exclusively fo 6 years & intermittently for years before. I do wear thongs designed for gents. I still remember when I first tried one I thought I would split the front.
Why do I wear Thong Undies?
(1) I like their minimal coverage. Why have them covering any more than absolutely necessary.
(2) I don't miss pulling briefs down my butt when they ride up.
(3) I find they hold my dangley bits a bit more forward than other undies. I reckon thongs on gents would be more popular if this was more widely known.
(4) They don't leave lines showing through trousers, particularly close fitting ones. Therefore if man + Thong = wrong and a Thong is invisible, who's to know?
I think thongs on gents is less common as they are generally made of thicker fabric than ladies knicks. This can lead to an uncomfortable bulky seam in the middle. Also a 1985 advert for Levis jeans (in the laundromat) made boxers popular. |

I only wear womens thongs I dont go any further. I love the feel of springy nylon and I would buy mens thongs but they are so hard to get a hold of a tend to be just cotton also ripping you off with price at the same time! Mens thongs tend to look ugly and when they try to look sexy they dont, the glossy gold, red and leopard pattern thongs for men are ugly and I would think give a bad reflection on thongs for men! I rarely wear thongs casually but tend to wear them when I'm horny. I hate it when mens thongs are adverterised with the word gay interest on the title. Its just fabric and I wear thongs because I like the feel and the fabric used I am not gay! It is very hard to find a Thong for men that looks as respectable as womens thongs. The only Thong manufacturer for men that come close are HOM thongs.
I can imagine people who dont like men in thongs seeing a bear belly man with a small pink stringy Thong on, that isnt a nice thought but i tend to get the nylon black, white thongs that have no stringy parts and are larger than small stingy thongs.
Men want more comfortable fabric, women have all the comfortable fabrics!
Women crossdress all the time and its a very good point. This is where social beliefs are twisted.
When I first tried a womens Thong around 13 it gave me the complete wow factor. The just feel great. What kind of underwear can do that! |

| lol I used to remember I had these boxers and after any sort of movement they would ride up between your crack and basically turn into a Thong but that was quiet uncomfortable! If thats happening to you, you might aswell just get a Thong! |

If you are male and say you wear womens thongs for comfort, then you can't have tried a Hom Plume Thong. Very sexy and very comfortable. They are made of such a light flimsy slightly sheer fabric with very thin elastic sides, but the cut is for a man.
I live in the UK and buy them from www.deadgoodundies.com, (who will ship overseas) or Harrods or Selfidges if you prefer to purchase over the counter.
Womens thangs just don't have enough space in the front! The Hom Plume will hold me in whatever mood I am in!!! |

| I have only ever encountered one man in a Thong and that was several years ago. It was a male garment however, and yes, I was a little surprised when his trousers first came off but neither of us commented on it. I don't want to offend anyone here but if I ever came across someone in female undies in the throws of passion I think the shock may have caused a halt to proceedings. |

Guys, re-read this post as often as necessary. It's the real deal, straight from the source.
Men's garments are ok, but even then, if you don't know the person already, it can be a bit shocking. But a woman's.... that's just over the top and weird and flash a woman right out of the mood and end everything. Is that really what you want?
And aside from the whole weirdness issue, I think another reason a woman would be put off by a guy in female panties is that, well, to be blunt, a guy should need a "man sized sling" (as it were). If he doesn't well.... that is it's own problem. lol |

| Looking at the posts you see a lot of different opinions from women. It seems that some women love it and take you shopping with them lol and others that just get surprised and freaked out. I think its a 50% thing on both sides but I do agree if youre wearing a Thong which couldent even fit your penis in properly then I dont think it will look very nice from the womans point of view. |
