Stay away, you can't enjoy Las Vegas if you can't buy your own liquor.

Can you get an Identification card???? Vegas is a blast! But they are very strict on the age thing. The dealer carded me and I am 39 she was shocked and I do look young, but I was more shocked. She said they can be fined for letting minors gamble. I am assuming that you don't get to the US much so it's worth a try if you can get an fake ID card. That is what alot of the underage people do here.

i went when i was 19 and still had a GREAT time. they are very strict and sometimes it can make u feel embarrassed, especially as all my friends were 21-22. i did miss out a little and other times i was too afraid to order drinks and gamble so i just stayed away. but there are so many other attractions to Vegas than drinking and .!!! but i know how fun it is. i live in Glasgow and thank goodness the legal age is 18!!!

I would like to see Las Vegas. I amn not interested in . or drinking - Just like to see it. Surely the greatest monument to mankind's profligacy ..!?
Are there hostels or inexpensive hotels there? Does one need to be rich to visit -even for about 3 days?
Perhap s a package deal = flight and accomodation? I am in Scotland.

There are other hotels other than the Luxor etc but im not sure of the prices. There are always deals to get there but it will still work out expensive. We got flights and accomodation as part of a "deal" but still work out about £600 i think pp. It is worth it, i promise!!! Save up and go, thats my advice. Its the most incredible place i have ever been.

You have to be 21 to check into a hotel room in America - unless someone else can book under their name who is over 21? Also you need to be 21 to drink alcohol.
