There is this club and its called motherhood and you have just joined ...
congrats what to do is to enjoy your new body(sometimes harce with changes)but the end result is lovely a baby that you will love for the rest of your life. And to breastfeed your bub is so bonding and something every woman should feel.

Congratulations JoJo. I hope everything goes smoothly for you.
I agree with the above poster too try out breastfeeding before deciding what's best for you. It really does make you feel so close to your little one (and in my case stopped my family from being able to take over )
Welcome to The Club |

Congratulations You have a long 40 weeks ahead of you! I hope you enjoy your pregnancy as much as I enjoyed my 1st. I got no morning sickness or nothing.
When you see your midwife you will get a list of foods you not supposed to eat. The main ones are liver, raw eggs or any foods containing raw eggs (mayonase, merengue), soft cheeses (brie), not too much caffine, limit your alcohol intake. They say curries and spices are to be avoided but people who live in India eat them everyday so I don't see how that can be bad for you Also nuts, they advise you not to eat buts which is completly barmy! Most food may contain traces of nuts so it would mean you would have to stop eating them too!
The only ones I stopped eating was liver, raw eggs and soft cheeses. I don't drink much tea and coffee or coke so I don't need to worry about caffine, and I stopped drinking complelty as soon as I suspected I was pregnant. I don't smoke either. If you do try to cut down or stop.
When you do give birth don't feel too bad if you don't breastfeed. There is a lot of women who just don't want to do it. When I had my 1st baby I was the only one that breastfed out of all my mates who had babies the same time. breast is best and it is so much easier too. No bottles to steralise, no wasted time making them, no waiting about for them to be the right temp etc....
The first trimester is the most dangerous so you will need to take things easy. Don't lift heavy objects and don't over do it.
Good luck with it all |

I've looked for your post and can't find it, sorry. What's up? Are you pregnant or do you just think you are? If you just think it then the only thing you can really do is take a test and find out. If you can't afford one then you can go to your doctor and get one free of charge. Only problem is there you have to wait a couple of days for the result.
Good luck xx |

Well congrats first of all and welcome to mother hood.
I recently had my first baby, She is 2months old already
They grow up so fast.
I had her when I was 19, I just turned 20 the 27th of Dec she came the 22nd of Dec.
Anywho, eat fruits and veggies, all sorts of types. Walk a lot, it is good for u and the baby, but don't over do it, if you get dizzy or anythign sit a nd rest. Make sure you drink tons of water. Don't bescared of Labour either, it is nothing. I am no tuffy and I went all natural. Although labour was fast forme (5 hours, 1hour of that pushing) It was a piece of cake, all yo got to is breathe and think about that little bundle of joy you will be holding after it all. |
