I'm 30 weeks pregnant. I KNOW I'm supposed to sleep on my side (left side, yeah, yeah) - and I try, but I wake up and my hips are sooooo stiff and sore.
I can still, very comfortably, sleep on my tummy. Is that ok, or not?
My doctor at first said I shouldn't, then she said "well, most of the research is why not to sleep on your back - I guess if it's comfortable, why not." But it wasn't too reassuring. Anyone else have insight? |

It's easy for doctors to sit there and tell you not to lie on your tummy, but they not the ones who is carrying the baby and find it almost impossible to get comfy. I wake up most mornings either on my back or on my tummy, I did oth my last 2 pregnancies too and it's done these no harm |
