|
|
I found out I was pregnant about 2 hours ago. I am still sat here shaking and have not yet told my partner.
I had a miscarriage about 2 months ago and one last September and I am terrified. Anyone have any advice for me to 1). Calm down (as im worried for the baby cos my heart is racing and has been for an hour) and 2). What i can do to help myself.... should I go the docs? After my last losses i dont know if i can bear it. But then I could really do with an early pregnancy scan or else im worried this panic will never stop. |

Just calm down first. Remember being pregnant is exciting. Yes you will have that fear that it may happen again. Go to Doctor as soon as possible and relax. If it is meant to be it will keep on growing.
I hope that everything will go well. I went through 2 miscarries and 3rd pregnancy is now 2 years old girl. Just have hope. |

Really! Thanks Elaine!
I did go to the docs and they have booked me in for a slightly earlier scan at 8 weeks... I am 6 weeks 3 days today! This is also past the time I suffered problems the last times. I would have been bleeding by now basically.
All my symptoms are getting stronger by the day so thats a good sign! I am feeling ok and am keeping a level head now. My partner knows and is dead chuffed. So feeling more supported and ok about things. I dont think the fear will go for a while... but its improves every day.
Thanks for your help. Its nice to know im not alone. After 2 miscarriages it kinda tears away your confidence. but hey third time lucky and all that! |

I am so happy to hear things are going well. I am also struggling to fall pregnant again and also seeking help for the second time. I went for operations the previous time to get pregnant and it seems like I have to go again.
Yes is it always good to know there is more people out there going through the same kind of problems (not like problems is ok).
Enjoy every moment of your preganancy.

Stop worrying ok...
My friends mum who had 7 children in all, had good pregnancy’s with all the first 5, she then miscarried and went on to have another 2 children.
What I'm trying to say is it didn't stop her to go on and have another 2 children after miscarrying, my friend himself went on to have a baby with a girl and she miscarried in the 8th month, but again after 2 years they tried for another and all went ok.
It isn't the fault of anyone and I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but worrying about it changes nothing at all, enjoy your pregnancy and remember not to try and look at what has happened before, and compare it to what is happening now.
I wish you all the best ... |

How sad am I though.... although feeling this rough..... I was a bit excited that I had been sick as it is a great sign of things to come! |

I may not be the best person to give advice, being a Raymond not a lady but don't worry take it easy, think first of your welfare after all if you are 100% the little guy merrily growing away inside will be happy.
Good luck I will have to think of an appropriate '5' thread. |
