Ermm...Hi, I am new to all this so just bear with me okay. I have a bit of a problem. Its to do with periods. Since I am on the pill and have been for some time (about 6 years, is this okay am I damaging my health, should I take a break...) my periods are regular and I havent had any problems.
Anyway, this month, my period was late, it is usually here about 8pm, but decided to appear at 4 in the morning. I only bled a little bit and for about a couple of hours, and now it has completely stopped, nothing, this is not normal for me, its usually roughly 2 days. What do I do?? Am I pregnant?? Do I continue to just take my next pack of pills as usual??? Please help.

Whether you take the pill or not is really linked to whether you are sexually active. If you have frquent sex (lucky you-if its good!) then the pill is the reliable method of contraception. If its infrequent, why not switch to condoms and save pumping your body full of hormones?. You seem to be able to time your period very accurately- it should be here at 8pm ? wow..anyway,if your worried,a simple self test kit from the chemist/pharmacy will sort you out for definite.

Thanks for replying so quickly. Take a test you say. Am scared will be first one I have ever done, scared of the implications. I am 22 yrs old and know I dont want a child yet, have dicussed it with partner and he is agreed, but scared about huge guilt complex afrterwards. I was brought up in a very strict religious background, am no longer praticing, but some of it sticks eekk.
