Anyone here have experience of Opera. I remember it being the other web explorer recommended to me. Firefox is good however. Just interested if Opera is still being used.
That said agree whole heartedly about IE being a piece of ****. |

| I use IE's built in blocker with zero problems, coupled with strong security settings, a suspicious mind and a powerful hosts file IE serves me well. |

Yes I use it. Have used it for 3 years and I love it. You can tinker with it til the cows come home. And yes it has a built in popup blocker too. |

| I recommend that you first install spysweeper, get the trial version. www.webroot.com |
Ad-aware and Spybot are both free for home users. I use both because they update at different times. It's worth using them at least once a week especially if you have kids who practise unsafe . or use MSN or one of the more dubious music download sites - you'd be amazed at what creeps into your computer and slows it down!
Incidentally, the only pop-up I get is the Dell one which comes with this message board! |

Ya i know that sarajay but the trail version of spysweeper is the full version of it and it is free for up to 15 days and it is the highest rating adware and spyware remover besides spydocter 3.2.
Spybot and adaware do not check as many locations and as thourogly has spysweeper and spysweeper has probably the best blocking protection. |

Have you heard of ZoneAlarm?
go to zonealarm.com.
Everyone needs a personal firewall anyway when they are on the net.
It also had a powerful pop up blocker. |
