Although a 3 and a half year old in nappies seems a little old, spare a thought for my cousine, who has two girls aged 5 and 7 and they are both still in nappies. Some time ago we (families) all went on a picnic, both the girls wore a nappy and some sort of plastic pants under their shorts and dress. When I questioned my cousin, she replied that it is normal and they feel content to wear them. She said that often they don`t even need them, so why would they want to wear them?
My little 5 year old girl loves to wear terry nappies rather than disposables at night as she still wets at night.
I just recently noticed that it's the plastic pants she likes!
Recently, the only time she'll wear a disposable is if she has her plastic pants over them so I agreed.
But last week I caught her without her nappy and wearing only her plastic pants.She was touching herself through them and I was quite shocked but didn't say anything. let her wear just plastic panties under her pjs

However, what is patently obvious is that you have lied and bullied your way through this, and other, threads.
