Yes, some people do put a lot of stuff on their cars, and it usually ends up looking really cool. So what if it isn't fast, thats not the point half the time. Power costs money, and I don't know about you, but I'd rather spend $1,000 on say a bodykit and paint matching, then spend around $2,700 for a GOOD turbo/intercooler kit. I do agree though, most of the pics posted here do look completely ridiculous. I'm modding my 05 Cavalier, but I'm not being cheap about it. Putting on a nice body kit, getting a CAI, new exhaust system, eventually a turbo kit in the long run. The only "ricer" people I can't stand are the guys who have a Nissan Altima or something, yet have tons of stickers that say "Greddy", or even "Honda Racing" when Nissan has nothing to do with them!!! Or the people that have stickers of performance like "NOS", "HKS" etc when you can clearly see/hear that there is nothing performance-wise done to the car.
Even some of you have to agree that some of the modded cars out there do look pretty cool. Its not always about whats under the hood. For me, I couldn't really care less about whats under the hood, I just like displaying creativity.
Get a fooking life, you fooking ricer. "Rice" means "rice burner"

alright..... it has like 5in (width) wheels, 4 doors, and frontwheel drive.. you tell me.
these cars are used for older women to go grocery shopping with.. and then when their kids get old enough to drive, they give the car to them.. and the mom probably buys another one.. i'd hate to have the same set of wheels as my mom's.

The fact of the matter is it's an 11 second car. Personally, I don't see the point in taking a Honda Civic and making it fast. However, this doesn't negate the fact that it is an eleven second car.
The dumb broad with the Cavalier is... well... just that, a dumb broad. Cavaliers are some of the worst cars made in recent history. They are in no way fast, in no way reliable, and completely shitty in every single way. Chances are the guy in the Ford Escort Wagon would have smoked your ass, considering you consider neon lights to be cool "modddzzzzzz."
Supra chick: Cool car, my girlfriend's got a '91 Supra. N/A, unfortunately.
Personally, I drive a '91 MR2 Turbo. Pushing about 272rwhp with 15psi of boost. Much much MUCH quicker than my friend's '05 G35 Coupe, and about the same as my other friend's STi. I love my little MR2.

In what world do you think I'm a chick dumbass? Read a few of my posts around here. As for slow? Yes, stock... Their economy cars. Good for people who don't have much money and want great gas mileage. Hence, great starter cars, or shell's... After you put on a turbo, intake, cam's, exhaust, boost controller, etc, the car can get fast. The 03-05 Cavalier Ecotec engine has been tested up to 1100HP... So go f*ck yourself claming the Cavalier doesn't have potential. You don't know jack about cars, and you suck too much penis.
Your over here saying that a Cavalier isn't in league with a G35, STi, MR2 Turbo, etc....DUH! It was never meant to be. Can't get any more obvious then that. F*ckin rocket scientist over here...

The ecotec is a fairly decent engine, I'm not denying that. However, it would take a shitton of money to get that Cavalier to 1100hp, and in the end you'd still be stuck with a Cavalier; a FWD, ugly, poor handling, poorly built piece of crap.
Why would anyone want to turbo a FWD car in the first place? I never understood this. Do you actually like torque steer?
There are much better base cars for making something fast; a 3rd gen Supra can be had for cheap, as can an old 240sx or a mkii MR2 Turbo. Hell, if you want pure straight line speed, very few cars come close to an older Mustang in terms of price to horsepower (just be careful when a corner sneaks up on you!)
Having a turbo'd FWD car is like competing in the special olympics; even if you win you're still retarded.

Well, you do drive a cavalier.

Uhhh... I see a lot of guys driving Cavalier's. I see girls driving the 95-99 Eclipse more then the Cavalier... I'm also at a forum where people mod the J-Body platform cars such as the Cavalier. So again, you don't even know what your talking about...
So what about having a FWD turbo...? If you actually know how to drive, then you can stop torque steer. The more I see your posts, the more I think you don't know jack S*** about cars.
