Or the people that have stickers of performance like "NOS", "HKS" etc when you can clearly see/hear that there is nothing performance-wise done to the car. |
that is exactly what i mean... but even when people add 'creativity' to their cars exterior, they still rev their engines and race other ricers.. trying to prove something, when their moms probably drive the same car that they do. i'm not really trying to hate on you or others.. but some of this "art" truly is hilarious

i can't agree with you on that one.. i guess i'm 'racist' when it comes to other cars than that of my supra.. i've done things to my car, but their not as drastic. for example: the lip that came on my car stock made the car look really high off the ground.. i bought a carbonfibre one... shipping killed me on this one at 300USD.. they also sent me a sticker, but i'm not one to display that on my car. also their are about 30 pple in america who have that lip.. chances are for the pple who do all that other crap to their domestics, you might see someone else with that same body kit, or wing.. oh and dont get me started on the lambo doors.. they belong on a lamborguini! www.totaltuning.nl/images/civic2_150.jpg |

Oh I know exactly what you mean about the people reving their engines. That just irritates me, lol. There was this guy the other day reving his car next to mine like he wanted to race... The guy was in an older model Ford Excort WAGON!!!! I was like wtf... Here I am in my modded Cavy, neon lights on, wing, etc looking all fun, and this guy pulls up in a piece of garbage wanting to drag.
You have a Supra? What year? Those cars are f*ckin awesome! Speed, looks, etc. Its all there. Specially the 98 Twin Turbo... *drool*
The shipping on car things is ridiculous... The bodykit I want for my car is called the "Blitz" kit... The kit in total runs about $700. The shipping then adds about $200 onto that. The shipping on anything car related in outrageous. |

I just noticed this, LOL
I know exactly what you mean... I do not understand this mod at all. I saw a 98 Mustang GT with it the other day and it looked pretty cool, but it just looked completely out of place. The kit is about $600 as well. |

No kidding! My friend had that exact model a few months ago. The engine blew out on it on I-55 going 75mph. His was red. For being an older model, those cars are pretty damn quick. The problem is, they weigh a lot more then expected and thats what slows them down a tad.
Actually, I don't have neon in my car, I have blue LED's. Under my dash is illuminated, I have blue reverse glow gauges, blue interior light, blue HVAC knobs, chrome "racing" pedals that have lit-up blue flames on them, and a damn nifty steering wheel cover that fits my color scheme, lol. I don't have THAT much stuff done to it yet, but I'm working on it. I'm debating on what to save up for next... Rims, racing seats, Cold-air intake, or the bodykit.
Lex, I don't have any pics yet, I will soon though |

| He was in Hazelcrest, Illinois. He actually ended up junking it since two seperate mechanics told him the same thing that the car was basically shot. I believe they said the engine threw a rod and spun a bearing. They said the fix was repairable, but the car wouldn't be able to be "pushed" again and the car would lose some power. The estimate they gave him was for about $1,200 to repair. If I remember right, a new crate engine for that car costs about $1,500, so the repair they wanted wasn't really worth it. |
