I'M NOT INTERESTED THAT WAY!?!

Hi guys,

I need your opinion or views on this one. I had a crush on this guy for a while. I showed him I liked me by giving him a little card for Valentine's and another time gave him a note saying that we should catch a movie sometimes with my phone number.

The same day I gave him the card he called. He said: ''I appreciate the attention and all but I'm not interested that way.''

I was more stunned that sad or upset. I never called someone to tell them I'm not interested. I thaught it was rude.

What do you think? I get the part ''not interested'' but what about the part of that way? Do you think he can be gay?

Does it matter if he is gay then? More importantly he is not interested in you "that way" (could well just mean he prefers your friendship to anything more intimate). And he had the decency to tell you early on - seems like an OK guy to me, gay or straight.

Perhaps you prefer if a guy teases you and then behaves like he didn`t know that you have a crush on him ? Or some other way uglier way of showing that he`s not interested in you ? It might sound harsh the way that he rejected you , but he showed that at least respects you .
