| Either get on your knees and beg for him to take you back, use the jealousy card, and act real happy with another guy, or go on with your daily anguish. If none of that suits you, I can only suggest something that someone with a damn sturdy willpower could do. You'd have to change your whole view on relationships, if not for just a smal while, until you forget about him. Realise that there are so many others out there, and that there are atleast a hundred guys that are almost identical to him. And become SHALLOW. Just look for a fu*k buddy to screw away your sorrows. Find as many other hobbies as you can, to take him off of your mind. Change your life in as many ways as possible, even if you're going to keep it in your mind that you'll go back to the old you after you're over him. I'm probably not explaining this as well as I'd wish to, but I tried. If you don't think you can handle all of that... then you're stuck in a prison within your own mind, for two life sentences. |

Well, I know some might advise that the "best way to get over somebody is to get under somebody" but I wouldn't. That might work for some but I think you might feel a little creepy about it.
Your young, I am guessing, and you have a whole lot of future in front of you. I know it now seems impossible to ever get him out of your head but trust me...you will. It just takes time...and effort. The first "love" is always the hardest to get over but after that...it doesn't get easier...but you are more prepared to deal w/ the ups/downs of relationship life. In other words...you coping skills improve. Some of what MR. Puppet said was true...get a hobby, make new friends, get out more. At first it will feel like you are faking the funk but after a while it will become who you are and you will suddenly realize one day that you didn't think about him all that day or that when you think about him you don't feel the same raw pain. You might even look back and wonder what the hell you thought was so special about him. But time and activity will really help you to weather this emotional storm.
I hope your heart heals.

IŽd suggest to enjoy for real every new relationship. I mean get a new man and leave all emotional attachments behind.
YouŽre entitled to be happy and only within yourself you will work it out.
Do not think of the past, the guy in question is not your partner anymore, so it makes no sense to compare him and how fantastic he was with any other guy you get involved with.
Set yourself free! Think of how positive your life can be next to someone that you may know or about to find, and give them a genuine opportunity to love you and look after you.
Good luck! |

| It happens every day, and those people find new lives too. If you have to get a new boyfriend, then do that. If you have to find new hobbies to replace the boredom that he fulfilled, do that. Just find something to take your mind off of him. |
