My son is just 2 and has been banging his head on the floor for almost six months. We have tried time outs, ignoring him, scolding him and even tried spanking him for it. He does it whenever he doesn't get his way. I have spoken to our health visitor but to no avail. I am at a loss as to what to do about this. My husband has no ideas either. So our son has a bruise on his forehead all the time.

Val wrote about her child and head banging
My Grandson is 20 months old and for the last 5 months has been banging his head on every available hard surface when he is having a tantrum.
My daughter has tried all the usual recommended things to do but still the banging continues

Does anyone have any solutions or ideas
