(July 1) - Three years ago, Jennifer Aniston's marriage to Brad Pitt fizzled, and he quickly took up with his 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' co-star Angelina Jolie. Pitt and Jolie always deny any wrong doings on their part, but the timing seemed suspicious.
Today, the Brangelinaniston love triangle is still a hot topic for the tabloids, and sometimes even Brad and Angelina themselves.
Recently, magazines have been highlighting the potential box office battle between Aniston and Jolie. At one point, both Brad's former love and his new life-partner had movies opening on the same day in October, and the media jumped at the chance to report the story, months in the making.
Although Aniston's film, 'He Just Not That Into You,' has now been pushed to February, the box office story was blown out of proportion.
On October 24, 'He's Just Not That Into You,' was to have a wide release in theaters. Angelina Jolie's movie, 'The Changeling' is only opening in limited release on that day.
Furthermore, while it's fair to say that Jolie is the star of 'The Changeling,' 'He's Just Not That Into You,' boasts several other A-list actors, including Scarlett Johansson, Ben Affleck, Drew Barrymore, and Jennifer Connolly, and can hardly be called Aniston's movie.
Yet, gossip rags continue to pit the two against each other, whether it's directly, with covers like "Angelina's Joy, Jen's Pain" or indirectly, by juxtaposing stories of Brad and Angelina with articles on Jen.
It's not just the tabloids. Jolie's brother and even Brad and Angelina themselves like to casually throw Jen's name around.
Back in March, both Aniston and Jolie were set to make an appearance at a pre-Oscar party. At the last minute, Jolie pulled out -- despite earlier remarks about wanting to sit down with Jen to discuss what happened with her and Brad.
After Jolie was a no-show, her brother James Haven spoke out as to why Jolie ditched the party.
"She'd go out of her way to make sure there was no situation that would hurt another woman because of her, and I'm talking about a situation like one of Brad's ex partners or his ex-wife," Haven said, keeping the love-triangle firmly in place.
Brad Pitt is also an offender. The 'Babel' star gave an interview last September and discussed his relationship with Aniston, even though they had ended their marriage nearly two years before.
"The most important thing about that time was for Jen and me to figure out if – how do I put it? – if we didn’t want to go on without any outside influence," he said, after admitting an attraction to Jolie.
But Pitt wasn't the first. Angelina herself brought Jen up in a December 2006 interview with Vogue, telling the magazine that she would "welcome" a sit down with Aniston and discussed that the two had briefly met before Jolie and Pitt wound up together.
With the impending birth of the Bragenlina twins, and Jen's increasingly public relationship with rocker John Mayer, expect rumors and reports to continually tie these three together.

Yep, see the whole word sees that it's Pitt and Jolie who keep bringing up Jen over and over and over. Jen hasn't mentioned either of their names in three years.
i think Jolie is obsessed with being "the other woman". She gets off on it. If the tabs ever let the triangle die she'll need to get her kicks somewhere else and leave Pitt in the dust.
