Unless it is very cold I am not a fan of tights, in comfort levels, appearence and the effect of gravity on the crotch!. To be honest I've always thought it a bit of a myth that they are more comfy than stockings, providing you wear a good sussy belt with metal clasps and at least a 2 hook fastening so it doesn't dig into your back.
But, that said, I would love the freedom that hold ups bring, but in spite of avoiding talc or lotions on my legs when I wear them I seem to end up yanking them up every 10 minutes. John Lewis own brand are slightly better but even they work down my leg. 'Any of the other girls out there wear a brand on a day to day basis which do what they are supposed to do?
I hate gravity! |

| I have tried "Hold ups" but do not like the feel of the material they use to hold on to the top of the thighs. If I wish to use stockings, I use a suspender belt. Whilst it is more fuss, I think it is sexier. Incidentally I put my briefs on after I have put the belt on - it makes going for a pee easier, and if you have worn stockings on a romantic night out, it is easier to take off the briefs for sex! |

If you'll take the advise of a guy who occasionally wears what you refer to as "hold-ups", I have had very good luck with Sears brand Hug-a-lon 100% nylon "Thi-Tops", which come in 5 lengths; if the elastic band is worn just below the crotch on each thigh, they do stay up. Oddly enough, nearly identical stockings made with nylon and Lycra, don't. |

Down in the Guest's 'Fashion' forum, Alfie has told us that his own personal preference is for wearing 'frilly' bras, panties and suspenders whenever both he and his Feral_Trolls can, under their blue jeans...

| I must admit i tend to wear tights most of the time especially for work. I still have to hitch them up a bit, but i never get on with hold ups as they geneerally just dont hold up and im forever pulling them up or more often as not i just give up and take them off. |

Whether I wear tights or stockings depends on what I am wearing on top and what I am doing. If I want to create a stir I wear a tight short skirt with stockings and suspenders. My bf says that being able to see the profile of the suspenders under the skirt drives him wild. Anyone else have the same experience?
For work however tights are the order of the day for me, but when it's warmer and under a longer, looser skirt sometimes stockings. I don't wear hold ups though.
