The Dirty Diggers tits, tote and telly "newspaper" The Sun stuffed Neil kinnock (probably the last chance Britain had of a real labour prime minister) big time.
On election day they printed a cartoon of Neil as a light bulb and the caption was something like "if Kinnock wins will the last person to leave the country please turn out the lights".
Despite the polls giving labour the lead, the conservatives under the pillock Major won and the Sun bragged "it's the Sun wot won it".
He'll go for Obama and it will be nasty. |

Murdoch isn't simply a hard "right winger" in the same way some other media barons are - it would be a mistake to think he will only back conservative candidates...
The Murdochs aren't a strongly political family, unlike the Packers and some other media owners - with the the Murdochs it's always What's Good For The Murdochs ahead of any particular political parties..
In the current US primaries he has been backing all three candidates financially - early in the year he hosted a dinner for Hillary in New York.
If he has decided that Obama will be best choice for him, News Corp. will shift the balance of their propaganda machine towards his camp, (though they will still maintain the right wing rage on Fox and the like - got to keep their advertisers, supporters and fans there on side, too..).

She was clearly joking.
Hillary Clinton has suggested Obama may be assassinated, yet she remains a sitting Democrat U.S. Senator and potential Democrat candidate for President.
And many Democrats, including elected Democrat leaders, have publicly said the same with respect to President G.W. Bush. |

Privately I feel that she was trying to stir up latent racism in the collective consciousness. She's implying that they're similar enough - two dodgy brown skinned men with "wog" names. Mass murderer, presidential nominee... what's the difference? |

News Corp is famous for having rabble-rousing political commentators disguised as "journalists" throughout the organisation -
Piers Ackerman in Sydney;
Andrew Bolt in Melbourne;
Bill O'Reilly on Fox news;
and now her who looks like his next apprentice...
You will find that Rupert is a great one for "playing both sides of the field against each other," if it will sell more papers, make more money, and make him richer.

Thanx ! I started out for Hilary mainly since she was a a woman but like in relationships I'm a traitor.................
Obama is not perfect but has so much to offer.
The election is going to be bitter with the Republicans using racism and dirty tricks |
