O'Bumma offers an almost total lack of experience and a form of "change" that will be bad.

Hillary and Bill used racism, but I guess that's ok if the democrats do it.

McCain is an outstanding man and won't stoop to that level, which may cost him votes.

Thanx ! I started out for Hilary mainly since she was a a woman but like in relationships I'm a traitor................. Laughing

Obama is not perfect but has so much to offer.

The election is going to be bitter with the Republicans using racism and dirty tricks

I have to disagree about the dirty tricks Lena. I've always thought Democrats were much more uncool about playing the game of dirty. It would surprise me if Obama opens his mouth like Gore or Kerry did with juvenile insults. I expect to see him with much more class and elegance. McCain has already shown respect for Obama and he does so with grace. It's the supporters of both parties that will diss and I expect like all other elections I've seen the Dems will be uncool about it. Do you remember what the Dems did at the last Republican Convention? It was a riot and many were arrested. You don't see the Republican displaying that kind of behavior. I have no doubt that Hillary would have played the nastiest of any of the candidates. I dunno... But I will be making some business transactions prior to the inauguration that I wouldn't normally do IF Obama wins.

That's right. O'Bumma is gonna win. He said he will raise capital gains taxes and the social security payroll tax. He likely will raise income tax rates on some. He definitely won't repeal the alternative minimum tax.

So Yanks should take their capital gains now and accelerate the timing of their income before rates go up.

When some were calling O'Bumma: Barrack Hussein Obama, McCain immediately condemned it and it stopped. McCain has never used O'Bumma's close radical friends against him, even character, judgment and integrity are defining issues for an inexperienced candidate running on vague promises of change. McCain has shown class, too much class for his own good.

"Though no tape of McCain's quip has yet emerged, this is what he reportedly said..."

With credibility like that of course it 'must' be true. Laughing

The poor girl in her younger days was a little homely but who of us isn't. She is very attractive now and quite sharp. I hear she is one of Madonna's close friends. That alone impresses me. Very Happy

I don't pretend to know much about American politics, but it seems to me to come down to this.

If you think the last 8 years have been great - the Iraq war, the disastrous US policy in the Middle East, the poor getting poorer, people dying because they can't get healthcare and the influence of the oilmen on US policy then vote for more of the same.

If you think the last 8 years have been a mistake and want to take a chance on a new and potentially exciting future for your country and maybe the world give Obama a chance.

McCain is not George Bush. They are 2 different people and I expect their presidencies to be different as well. Obama does not have the experience to serve as a US president. Dan, we could find ourselves in worst shape than the last 8 years with Obama in office. He presents himself well but I don't think he can manage the government of the US and he has no business being Commander in Chief of our armed forces.
