Hi there, my name’s Julie. I’m making a documentary for Channel 4 about Mills & Boon romance novels and the reasons behind their huge popularity – a Mills & Boon book sells every 3 seconds in the UK! The film will take us into the personal worlds of Mills & Boon readers and will try to find answers to the perennial question “What do women really want ?”.

The film will feature women of all ages, from different walks of life. I’d really love to hear from any fans out there, to hear what it is about the books that you love so much and how this passion for M & B’s relates to the rest of your life.

I look forward to hearing from you and telling you more about my project.

All the best

Hi there,
Not sure how I managed to miss my contact details off the posting - how stupid of me.

My email is juliemoggan@yahoo.com

Really hope to hear from some of you fans out there.

All the best
Julie

Hi Chintot,
Thanks for the advice about leaving off my phone number (I'm a bit new to all this forum stuff!) and I hope to hear from your sister.

Best wishes
Julie

You're welcome and I've emailed your message onto her. Hopefully she will be able to help you out with her opinions etc.

I guess is it does not leave you so horrendously vulnerable to post your email but it is a definite no-no to give out your personal phone number. Also an idea to ask people to log on to the forum and PM (private message) you to get any further info.

Good luck once again.

Ah yes, Channel 4, wasn't it once a TV station dedicated to producing challenging, thought provoking quality programs.
Mills and Boon - well got to keep the ratings up these days, haven't we?
