| You need wear an undershirt under the dress - I think the top is not appropriate for a date in public. |

I think the dress is good providing the weather is nice. You should wear them and take the pics though then we could see if they really suit you?

The dress, heals and some jewellery - nothing else. I can gaurantee that you'll feel great.

Sara: I know it is borderline but the possibility of “accidents” can be a turn-on (for both?) So am am not sure yet. Do you know a brand that I could wear and maybe remove later?
Vanessa: I thought about that - but I want to hear first what people think |

I would avoid the pants. Pants are not sexy- period. Men do not like them no matter what we think of them.
For the dress, you have to decide if you want to be flashing your top or not. If not, some two sided tape or an undershirt are in order. If you do, more power to you. Let us know what you decide and how it went. |

| Kate, I really think the top is... well, over-the-top (pun intended.) Looking and feeling sexy is one thing, looking like a hooker is something else entirely. Guys most certainly do like to see girls dressing sexy, but classy-sexy, not trampy, and I really think that top qualifies as the latter. |

Dreyam is right about the top. Maybe keep it for home use only.
You can only wear your dress if you have the confidence all evening. Not confidence only after a few drinks, but from the start. You need to wear it as if you really mean it.
Get a close girlfriend to check you for VPL. It might be a serious problem with dress that clings like yours. If it is, then Vanessa is probably right about the only way to wear it. And if you rely on tape you are going to have to have a very restrained evening.
You will certainly be giving the occasional flash, but isn't that what a dress like this is for? |

Thank everyone for their input
I am still not sure what to wear – some of you think my suggestions are completely inappropriate
Some say they look sexy and I should have fun. I want to have fun
I definitely won’t wear the pants – I have a pair that looks like this:
http://www.shopbop.com/eric-front-pleat-wide-leg/vp/v=1/845524441803019.htm?folderID=2534374302067313&fm=browse-category-viewall-shopbysize
I think that will look classier and be a contrast with the top – classy professional bottom, hot sexy top.
I also thought about wearing a black and white crop jacket over my white top.
It ends a little bit above my belly button and I show still some skin in front. In the back it comes low enough and I won’t show any skin. It has two buttons and even when unbuttoned it stays almost closed. (sorry have no picture)
This way I can vary the sexyness
I have a little time tomorrow so I’ll look around. |

Kate, the most important thing is to be comfortable with what you wear.
Dress as risky as you want, but you will be a lot more sexy if you are at ease with the way you look. |

WRONG!! You haven't known many secure (in their masculinity) men, apparently. The other kind really aren't worth knowing, frankly.
But if you MUST wear a dress, a little black halter dress nearly always works well. Black silk brocade mid-thigh length CheongSams aren't bad either, such as this, this, or this one in red. |
