10 second rule

Is there such a term '10 second rule' where by you dropping food on the floor and eating it in 10 seconds and its safe to eat?

The 10 second rule is a myth. Germs can move and get to the food in much less than 10 seconds.

That is shocking. I had to plead with a friend in elementary school to get him not to eat a piece of candy his picked up off the pavement. He though that it would be safe because the candy was still wrapped.

its actually 3 secondds- and food (if mostly cooked alrady) shoukd be quickly rinsed off, cooked and served with some sauce on top, to either the hungriest person, or anyone you dont like!
