Failing My Driving Test just 1/2 an hour ago

I think i must be the world record holder, just failed my FIFTH test. Its such a stupid test one mistake and you've failed. I know I'm a good driver I just can't go that long in a nervous situation without making a mistake. I don't think ii'll ever pass now, I've probably only got one more go at it before I go on my year out abroad and when i get back my bloody theory certificate runs out. Its now 8 month since my first test and sixteen since my first lesson. I don't think i can cope anymore.

Just looking round the Internet for driving test tips and how not to fail- ive got my first test fairly soon and i am not feeling to confident.
anybody know where i can find a list of all the things which constitute as a Minor and Major

I failed my second test today, and I'll tell ya what kicks me in the teeth. I did my first test only 2 months i was 17. I hoped i'd pass but wasn't building my hopes up to much because i'd only had 10 hours training.....But i had it and i got 3 majors.....but they were stupid things, like stopping at a traffic light just before it went to red, the guy said you shouldnt of stopped...but if i had gone through i would have gone through a red light,,,hmmmmmm.

But it was the second test that was the real icing on the cake, after my first test i suddenly seemed to start driving like you should, not rushing things, not speeding, not being over cautious but not undercautious...My instructer said he couldn't honestly see me failing. So then im doing the actual test and to me everything seemed to be going fine, the manouvers went well, few obstacles otnhe road, parked lorries with hazard lights on etc but i thought i coped with them well. When i got back to the test center i honestly thought id past, when you know youve fialed for something you can prepare for the tester to say it but when you think youve passed and he says those horrible horrible words theres nothing worse, my stomach sank....and it was for one stupid thing....overtaking but staying too close the the car...i was gutted,,,,and it dont help that theres a 7 week waiting list in my city. However i have one in 4, 9th July. I don't kow what ill do if i fail again, there isn't a worse feeling, or i dont know it if there is. Helps to talk about it though, as i havent told any of my firends ive had these tests, couldnt face telling them

i failed my first test today and we think he was nit picking NO FOR A FACT he was i got 0 M's and 1 could be in some situations.... FFS he said i did not check my blind spot soon enough WELL I F****** DID.... they guy has pissed me off so im appealing..... . but i managed to book anohter test as i HAVE to drive. test is on the 1st JULY 2.5 weeks down the road only problem is it is in a diffrent area :@

Whilst feeling a bit down in the dumps yesterday i read this site. But im pleased to say i passed my driving test today with only four minors, two of which were for observation - despite being really nervous i managed to drive really well.

i passed today! my 2nd attempt! 1st tym failed for roundabout i went in right lane duno y! for goin straight on. this tym passed with 11 minors but im supposed to have had the guy who marks every slight thing down. if it was the other guy wulda bin half as many but how cares i passed!

I'm in the worst situation I told my boyfriend who is absolutely gorgus that I was already driving, - Well I was and i am a brilliant driver - but I just didn't tell him that I didn't have my full licence. I spoz i didn't want to look like a bimbo - anyway I feel like such a fool now because I've failed 3 times and he keeps asking me why I don't get a car of my own and i'm like "Oh just there expensive aren't they?" i PREFER TO WALK TO WORK . NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FIRST TIME I FAILED ON 3-4 MAJORS BUT I THOUGHT I HAD PASSED AS THE EXAMINER NEVER INTERVENED BUT THE ARSEHOLE SAID -I WENT THROUGH TRAFFIC LIGHTS, I WAS SPEEDING WHEN APPROACHING A NATINAL SPEED LIMIT SIGN AND I WAS TOO NEAR A CAR WHEN PULLING OUT!!! I thought fair enough it's my first test - but i was so confident i would pass and i only had 6 minors. My second test i touched the curb on a parallel park!!!!!!!!!!!!! again i thought i would have passed - HE WAS SO COOL AND SAID WELL IF YOU HADN'T TOUCHED THE CURB WHAT A C*** UP AND MY THIRD TEST TODAY WAS SO F****** PERFECT I FAILED ON 2 MAJORS - OBSERVATION (WHICH I THOUGHT WAS FINE -ITS NOT MY FAULT SHE WAS SPEEDING ) AND MEETING TRAFFIC - HE SAID I PULLED OUT TOO SOON. I CAN'T AFFORD TO TAKE ANY MORE LESSONS OR TESTS BUT THEN I CAN'T AFFORD TO GIVE UP. I really feel like i'm having the worst luck - I really wanted to be driving in the summer but i think that dream is not going to happen . Any advice -Sasha- THERE JUST TOO FUCKIN HARSH!!!!!!!

I thought reading this site would make me feel better but sadly not... I think I could do that for some of you though, I failed today for the 7th, yes 7th time. Now think about that!

I won't even get into what I failed on but I'm just numb. All I keep hearing is, you were sooooooooo close....

I am sooo scared....
Ive got my driving test in 17 hours and 16 minutes and I'm so worried i will fail! Its my first and i was quite confident but reading that all you lots failed first and second times has made me have doubts! Oh god!

Well if i fail, which is quite likely, ill let you know. if i dnt, ill be out crusin in my citroen.....but thats too good to be true, so ill spk to u soon!!! X

Not everyone fails first time! I managed to pass first time. I enjoyed it so much I'm now working towards the advanced test, lol! Just chill, it'll be fine!

I failed my first test today and it sucks i made a right turn on red when i wasnt supposed to but the lady tricked me she said go ahead and take a right here and i beleived her and she sayd after i make the turn-you just ran a red light.i was SSSOOOOOOOOO mad i wanted to slap her in the face and kick her out of the car.im going back tomorrow to try and take my second one and i have to pay 20 more bucks and i'm going to a different DMV so hopefully i dont get an asshole like her this time im so mad because i wasnt even sweating it i had stuff planned for today but it ruined everything and i cried when i was walking out and everyone saw me balling i hate that lady im going to call in a bombthreat tommorrow.

I feel so good 'cause I finally passed my behind the wheel driving test after failing 6 times. Now I believe that not all DMV examiners are mean. There is at least one angle. The one who took me driving this morning. God I feel so good. I feel human again. Good Luck for you, relax, pretend the examiner is not there, and drive the way you usually do.

I just failed my drivers test today....for not stopping for some people crossing the street. I know that everyone wants me to get my drivers, I am 22 and have had my learners since I was 18.
I don't really care to drive but hey if the world wants me to fail I am fine with that. Just pick up my feet and try again. Eventually they will pass me cause after my guess of 1000 times I will have surely mastered it at age 80 For all you people who have failed before me and are going to fail I say this: It's not the end of the world...at least nobody got hurt.

Don't worry - it took me fifty lessons and two tests before I passed. Didn't help I nearly knocked over a cyclist on my first try - ouch!
