| Just noticed the thread is now gone. Why? It was full of interesting info and discussion. I was looking forward to giving some new reviews of sauna in other parts of Germany and Holland this year. Oh well, I'll still look forward to visiting those saunas, but I'll keep the info to myself. Appologies to anyone who was looking forward to reading the reviews. I was also looking forward to reading any other reviews from other forum members. |

no doubt someone deemed it inappropriate for some inexplicable reason. I'd try emailing the webmaster, but don't hold your breath.
Anyway, do carry on, I enjoyed reading your reviews. Why not start a blog (it's free) and just post a link to each new review you do - you could even cut and paste all or part of your review and post here too.
Keep up the good work! |

Doubt the subject matter could be deemed offensive when you see what is posted here.
Possibly down to poor admin or maybe they are finally removing my posts and pictures finally as requested? Doubt it lol |

Yes, the subject matter certainly wasn't offensive. In the latter stages of that massive thread it became a detailed review source of saunas/thermen's over on continental Europe. Certainly nothing offensive.
I do remember there was another sauna thread on here sometime back called "What do you wear in a sauna?". Anyone remember that one? Well I note that one's been deleted as well. Strange. I didn't actually contribute to that thread, believe it or not.
I'm sorry but I won't be writing any more sauna reviews on here. The next 2 brand new reviews from me would have been just 11 or 12 days away. As I don't want to spend hours typing them out, and then they get deleted. Will have to think of some other source. |

The idea of startting a blog to review saunas is a good one. Though with that, other people can not chat(post) backl in the way that thread worked. So I will be opening up a new low profile forum very soon to talk about/review the saunas over on mainland Europe. That way I can post my reviews, and others can also post their reviews/queries if they wish. There was a guy on here who said he was going to be trying out some different sauna in Berlin and Dresden soon, so would be interested in reading his reviews.
New reviews from me in just over a weeks time. I'm flying to Frankfurt on Friday!
If anyone wants to join the forum, you will have to PM me get the URL. |

OK forum has been set up. It's a members only forum, which means you'll have to register as a member to read and post.
A small selection of my original postings from the old thread have been retrieved and have been reposted on my new forum.
Hopefully as well as my own reviews, we will also get a number of other members posting their reviews too. I don't want just my own reviews on there.
For a limited time only I am posting the URL on here. After that I'll delete it and you'll need to PM me to get the URL if you didn't catch it in time.

Its nonsense, where has it gone, we deserve a mod answer on this it was a hugely informative thread, that some people had put a lot of work into. It was not offensive at all, and some threads on this site are quite explicit !
Its a joke, really is ! |

Hi Whizzo, I compile information for a travel services company and have used the previous spa thread as background information for some of the spas in Europe.
In the absence of the thread, I wondered if you wouldn't mind getting touch with a view to you contributing to our information platform.
You can email me on bradferringhart at hot mail .co .uk
Anyone else with extensive knowledge of spas or hotels with spas is also welcome to get in touch.
Best regards
Brad |

Really really short-sighted move, that thread was a top 5 Google result for mixed sauna. And now we'll all end up at another site that doesn't net Female First any advertising revenue or drive traffic here.
Whizzo's reviews were great info. |

Thanks for the support and compliments about my reviews.
I have asked a mod why the thread was deleted. And await a response. I'm as mystified as you lot are as to why it was deleted. There was nothing explicit, pervy, childish, sinister, etc in the thread. The thread was all about clothing optional/nude saunas/spas, for people who enjoy taking saunas au naturel without the constraints of clothing. The thread had reviews about various saunas, as well as discussions about them. It was a harmless and sensible thread. If had a BBFC rating, it would be nothing more than a PG. So why it was deleted is beyond me.
If the thread was to return I would be happy to write my sauna/spa reviews on this forum again. But untill then I will just use my own forum, to which anyone is invited(URL just above). If that old thread really has been completely deleted though(rather than moved to a "hidden" part of the forums), then it can not be brought back to life in the form that it was in.
Thisgillian, you are right are the thread being a top 5 search result in google - http://www.google.co.uk/search?sourceid=navclient&aq=t&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4SUNA_enGB242GB242&q=mixed+clothing+optional+sauna
Also Gillian I've been meaning to ask you something for several months regarding saunas. But haven't got round to it. Reading your post just reminded me. Would you mind atall signing up on my forum so I can send you a PM?
Brad, regarding contributing to your information platform on spas, I will get in touch by email with you soon.
Cheers. |

Great, look forward to it.
Is anyone prepared to take the risk of starting the forum again in the same manner on this thread!? |

| Just another last plug for my European Spas forums. The link is in this thread. Included on there is some reviews of a few more German spas which you wouldn't have read about on here. Also details of every(that I'm aware of anyway) British Summer festival which have nude/clothing optional saunas onsite. The festival season starts NEXT week!! |
