Hi,
Came off Dianette a year ago after being on it for 15 years. No period yet. Docter advises patience but I have heard about hormance replacement. How long should I be patient for before asking for hormone replacement?

| Hi Sounds like me. Ive been off dianette and havent had a period for 5 months. Have been referred to a gyno who has done tests and has now given me progesterone challenge to see if i am producing oestrogen. Can I ask, are you underweight or have you lost weight recently? My BMI is 19 and the doctor advised weight gain as fat cells produce oestrogen. |

| 8 stone & 5ft 6", so yeah I suppose that is underweight, may well go back to docs and ask to be referred to gyno. Cheers |
