Decypher this

Alright this might be long but I have mixed views on it.

Ok basically this dream starts off with me talking to this girl. The significance of her is that I loved her, in real life. I've talked to her on the phone all the time, but lately not really. Anyways I was talking to her for a while, then all of a sudden it cuts to me hanging up the phone. No good bye or anything, just me hanging up. I didn't realize it at first, then I noticed I didn't say bye or anything I just hung up. I quickly picked up the phone (after about 10 mins) then tried to call her back, thing is, I didn't have the number. I was looking for it everywhere, all the while thinking "Man she thinks I'm an asshole now". I couldn't find it, I found a piece of paper with a bunch of numbers written down thinking one might be hers. Just as I was dialing my phone went off, and I answered. "Hello" "Hi Jon remember me?" "No" "We met at this church in San Antonio, how's the therapy going?" "Uh, I'm not in therapy, and I'm Agnostic". There is a silence, and then she connects me to someone else. While the "holding music" is playing, I hang up on her and try to call that girl again. I try calling again, but it cuts to me getting into a government truck (similar to the ones we use at work). I'm getting in, and the guy driving the truck is a guy I know from work. I don't personally know him, but I know of him. We're driving to another base here in Japan, and we pull through the gate somehow and I tell him "Crap I don't have my ID with me". He tells me don't worry, we'll just hide you while we go work on this stuff. I say ok, and just as I'm getting out of the truck, I see the number I had written for said girl in the truck. It's the same piece of paper I have in real life with her number. I look at it and wonder "why the hell is this in here?". So my "co-worker" takes me to some underground office, and it looks weird and eerie and then I just wake up. What the hell does that mean?

Ok So the girl in the dream is a girl I've been talking to since March. We've never met but we have a "history". She's someone I used to hold near and dear to my heart, and now we are somewhat friends. Anyone care to tell me what this means? I had it analyzed by a friend of mine, and it's kinda weird what he said but it makes perfect sense. I just want to see if anyone else says the same thing.

I've always believed that dreams are our subconscious desires/worries/fears/etc, etc & I think that's a widely held theory. Seems at first glimpse (& I'm working from that alone & without knowing you) that your mind is saying - here's a girl I really like, I let her slip past me once & I'm worried she might find someone else!

You did say "She's someone I used to hold near and dear to my heart" which kind of backs up my she slipped out of your grasp for whatever reason. The office at the end is probably significant as in - a place you're not quite used to, translates to not being where you want or know you should be... Also going underground, indicates that you are pushing thoughts and issues into your subconscious mind. Or you may need to confront and explore your unconscious. Your feelings for her perhaps?
