Itchy hands

hi all i hope your christmas day was a great one. i have a quick question i woke up this morning with really itchy palms on both hands they seem to have eased a bit now but are still a bit itchy. has anyone else had this or can you help with what to do. my palms are a bit red but that could be because i have been scratching them. i don't think it was anything that i ate as i didn't eat anything that i haven't eaten before. not concerned just puzzled.

Maybe if you post a picture of your hands we can figure out what you are referring to.

That happened to me a few times during pregnancy (the itchy part) but my palms did get red.
