| The only prob david david is if/when she meets some1 who blows her mind compared to you, and there is some1 out there who could do that...and leaves u as a result of it.....not sure whether you'd be able to pick up the pieces. If you could so easily I have to question the depth of the realtionship in the 1st place. |

No, I will not be able to pick up the pieces that easily..if at all. The thing is however, that as you say JP555, there is always someone out there who could blow someone else's mind! If she meets that person he/she will blow her mind anyway, regardless of whether this consitutes cheating or not. With the more open, honest and trusting approach that I am talking about, at least you can hope that you will see things as they happen and will have more chance of saving the relationship. In fact, if I cheat on her or she cheats on me with someone who blows my (her) mind, it is almost guaranteed that our marriage and relaionship will fall apart. I am more prepared to accpet the fact that she comes home one day and says - I am really attracted to someone I met today and want to f*** his brains out! |

Have you never really felt like that Christy, or just would not chose these exact word? |

Probably both. If I met a guy I would be really attracted to I would want to get to know him better first, not just jump in bed with him. I'm not usually interested in just sex, no matter how attractive the guy might be to me. |

| ok, Cristy, the first thing that comes to mine following your response is that you seem to be unable to seprate sex from feelings and relationship...The second, (hope I do not offend you by saying that) is that you sound like you haven't really experienced the pure physical joy of sex! |

hmmmmm david/david
Im sure that there is a good reason for some people to want to tie up sex with meaning/relationships. It being that we could all go around f**kin like animals....if so inclined, because as you say, the pure physical joys of sex are great, but there is always a danger that you will, through your actions, maybe hurt another person catastrophically, despite trying to ensure that everyone is in it for the same reasons.
These things work differently for different people, on levels we cant even begin to imagine. You sound remarkably self centred, despite your protestations that it would be agreed between all parties. Like I said, you can speak for yourself, but have no idea the damage you could inflict on another, later on down the line perhaps.
I for one have experienced the physical and mental joys of taking drugs, but would be foolish to advocate that it can not damage both me and people close to me.....as a result of my actions. |

No and I don't want to separate them, they go together in my mind. And no I haven't experienced the "pure physical joy" of sex and I don't think I want to either. It would make me feel cheap somehow, I need to feel at all times more than just a body or just an animal and so I am. |

Well, we are all different and thank God for that ! I respect you for what you are and for being comfortable to state it so clearly! I hope you feel the same about people who think and feel differently. Kissing your hand! |

Oh I have nothing against such people. I just hope I never get involved with one of them. |

I am a caring and loving male who has been trampled all over by women. I know its not all women but i cannot seem to get a woman who loves and cares for me. That's all i ever ask for but never seem to get it, what's wrong with that!
My previous girlfriend of 4 years(split 5 months ago) treated me like dirt and used me but i never did anything to her apart from love her.
There are decent guys out there like myself who dont sleep round, cheat or lie but because of the majority we are looked at like hungry predators.
If you ever want to chat please email me on crofsy1986@hotmail.com
