Hi

I’m posting this video on behalf of the European Cervical Cancer Association (ECCA) to ask for your support of the STOP Cervical Cancer petition.

Every year over 50,000 women develop and 25,000 women die from cervical cancer in Europe yet it could be virtually eliminated through organised prevention programmes. However, the startling fact is that only a handful of European countries have these so the majority of women in Europe do not have access to proper protection against this disease.
This situation needs to be changed now. The STOP Cervical Cancer Petition calls on the European Parliament and Commission, and all the national governments of Europe to make organised cervical cancer prevention programmes available to all European women.
Please spare five minutes to watch the video clip below and help raise the one million signatures needed to lobby the European Parliament to make cervical cancer prevention programmes available to all women in Europe.

You can sign the petition at:

Thank you in advance for your support

If one does not act like a whore and sleep around you do not need a vaccination.

You could have only one partner and still contract HPV. Sleeping around would make getting cervical cancer more likely, but not sleeping around wil not stop you from getting cervical cancer.

If both never slept around..YES it would!

HPV is a sexually transmitted disease!
What you are doing is the immoral equivalent of handing out condoms.
Which is the condoning of acting promiscuous.

I agree, if neither partner sleeps around then contracting HPV would be very unlikely. However, there have been cases of virgins contracting the virus. Also if your partner has had a previous partner (which isn't exactly being a lady), or has been unfaithful, you could contract the virus, without you having slept around. So a vaccination would benefit all women, and you are wrong to say that you don't need the vaccination if you're not a lady.

I will not get into the debate about condoms here, as I have already had this debate with you, and I proved that it is not immoral to give out condoms.

You forget one thing... if all of society were far less promiscuous there would be no need of a vaccination. PERIOD.

And if condoms were moral..THE CHURCH WOULD BE HANDING THEM OUT!
Your delusional to think I lost any moral argument about the handing out of condoms.

I don't agree with you here for the reasons I have already stated.

I do not look to the church for morality. There are things that the church condones that is immoral in my view.

Your delusional to think I lost any moral argument about the handing out of condoms.

I think you mean "You're". No wonder you cannot grasp my arguments when you do not have a grasp on English grammar.

Your solution contradicts your previous position. You stated that a man and a woman are not equals. You implied that that a man is permitted to sleep around with women while a woman should remain a virgin. Which should it be? You can not have it both ways.

I disagree!

Laughing

Well, many churches did and still do offer alcohol to their congregations (holy communion wine) so drinking and boozing, which generally leads to merriment, drunkenness and lots of promiscuity, must be is quite moral! Very Happy

That's because your looking at my second quote out of context.
And my first point is just stating the facts.
And my second post is also a fact. When put in context.
Men are NOT held to the same standard as women.

I see. So what you are saying is that you are perfectly fine with double standards, inequality, and ambiguity so long as it is your double standards, inequality, and ambiguity. In other words, your position still contradicts itself. Cool

Men and women are not equals. PERIOD.
So there can be no double standard.

The differences are what make each sex great!
