Hey, I'm brand new here. I'm 17 years old and in a loving relationship. My boyfriend and I are planning to get married in a couple of years. Recently I became pregnant. It wasn't planned, but we were both happy and wanted it. I hadn't even thought about aborting our child. And then, 5 weeks in. I miscarried. It was awful, and I just need a little support. My boyfriend is still with me, and we are working to get over this. Thing is, it'd be easier for me to accept it if I knew the reasons why it happened. Anyone know of any reasons likely to have caused this?

Hey!

I';m sorry to hear about your loss. Crying or Very sad I miscarried three times before I had my oldest and then once before I had my second one. Sometimes I think stress can play a big part...well they say that it can be bad for you if you're trying to get pregnant so early on must make a difference. Were you worried or anything about it? How are you feeing about it now, do you think you'll want to try again soon?

Take Care

Lauren

a first miscarriage is not entirely unusual. Usually no cause is identified and the next pregancy is no problem.

All the best - you are still very young and have fantastic potential

I wasn't stressed or worried about it at all. I was looking forward to have a baby to cradle and love. And no, we weren't trying in the first place, it was just a happy accident. As we weren't trying I'm going to wait until I'm married to have a child. But I still feel sad when I think about my loss.
Hopefully in the future I will be able to have the eight children I want Smile

Yes, eight...
